You can obtain your debit card from your bank where you have an account. There is no need for any proof of identification. You can use it anytime you want and anywhere where it is accepted. Credit Card
Acquiring credit card needs a lot of documents including the application form, proof of billing and approval from a credit card company. Credit limit will depend from the card issuer. Expect interests and other fees when you use the credit card. You can purchase goods immediately when you have no cash available but depending on your credit limit. Payments are made through banks or to any establishment authorize by the credit card company. You can arrange for automatic deduction from your bank where you have an account. And credit cards can be used locally and internationally.
